Rajasthan, the bordering state of India and Pakistan to the west, is considered as the largest state of the Republic of India, because, it covers the largest part of the total area of India. If viewed like a tourist's eye, Rajasthan is a container of several attractions and cultures. The Great Indian Desert that is called Thar Desert, is one among the main possession of this state, for which, this Indian state gained enormous fame worldwide. Other than Thar desert, there is a number of things, to tell about Rajasthan. Jaipur, known as the Pink City, is the capital of Rajasthan.

To say about Rajasthan, it must be said that, the state hosts a total of seven divisions and 32 districts. Each division consists of some districts. The names of these divisions and the districts are listed below:
- Udaipur Division: Chittorgarh, Banswara, Dungarpur, Udaipur, Rajsamand.Pratapgarh
- Bikaner Division: Bikaner, Churu, Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh.
- Jodhpur Division: Barmer, Jalore, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Pali, Sirohi.
- Bharatpur Division: Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karuali, Swai Madhopur.
- Ajmer Division: Ajmer, Bhilwara, Nagaur, Tonk.
- Kota Division: Bundi, Jhalawar, Kota, Baran.
- Jaipur Division: Jaipur, Alwar, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Dausa.
The economy of Rajasthan is primarily based on agriculture. The main crops of Rajasthan are wheat and barley. These two are cultivated across the large area in Rajasthan. Besides these, pulses, sugarcane, and oilseeds, cotton and tobacco are the cash crops of this state. It is true that, Rajasthan is considered as one among the largest producers of edible oils in India and the second largest producer of oilseeds.
To speak about Rajasthan's politics, there is not a lot to say. The main 2 political parties that dominate Rajasthan, are Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP and the Indian National Congress. The state was under the rule of Congress till 1962. The present Chief Minister of this state is Vasundhara Raje, who is the representative of BJP.
As Rajasthan is enveloped with natural beauty and bound with a fabulous history, naturally, the tourism in Rajasthan is now in flourishing condition.
